Harvest Volunteers 2023

Hello

We are collecting contact information for people who are interested in helping us with Harvest this year. We do not have dates yet ,as it is a bit early to estimate at the moment. We are anticipating that the majority of harvest will be late October. If you would like to be included this year then please fill in the details on this form and we will be in contact once we have finalised the harvest season. Please note this is often only just before we are picking as we have to wait until the grapes are at the optimum picking sugar and acid levels! Nature varies this greatly each year...

You can choose to join us for a half day morning/afternoon, full days or to fit in with the school run if that is required. We will provide hot drinks with biscuits in the morning, a lunch and tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon. You will not go hungry!!.  These are very social events and we know that many of you are looking forward to seeing friends from last years harvest. Dont worry if you have not joined us before, we are a friendly bunch (no pun intended!!) and we will show you all you need to know before you get started. You just need to provide a pair of secateurs, and we would also recommend some gloves, gardening or good old marigolds work well and suitable outdoor clothing. Layers are a good idea as even at the end of October on a sunny day it can get reasnobly warm in the vine rows as you are protected from the wind. 

Once you have finished with us we will send you home with a bottle of our wine to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
